Leadership Examples

The following page showcases some of the documents I have put together as an Educational Leader.   Underneath the link to each document is a brief explanation of the document and its purpose

Training Goals and Metrics 2019-2020

  • In conjunction with a fellow colleague, we developed the faculty professional development program on how to utilize the G-Suite for education products.  We selected the team and trained the team over the summer to provide the beginning in the fall of the 2019-2020 school year.  This is a three year program starting in the first year by introducing the product and going over the basics.  Each training included an activity that all learners had to complete in order to receive credit.  To keep track of training goals and metrics were established and kept track of on a spreadsheet.  Click on the heading link to take a look at the Goals and Metrics.  This was extremely useful in being able to launch the online curriculum (due to the Corona Virus Pandemic) to meet the needs of the students at my school on March 23, 2020.

MYCC FACULTY TRAINING BOOKLET

  • This is the training manual that I put together for the faculty.  We trained on some of the material the first day of school but will continue to train on the rest of the material throughout the course of the year.  The entire manual is available for the staff to access and train themselves ahead of time if they would like.

Student Training Manual

  • This document is similar to the faculty and parent training manuals.  It is designed to deliver information and training material to the student perspective.

Parent Training Manual

  • This is the training manual I put together for parents.  It is designed from their perspective and what they will see and need.  Some of the information is the same as the Faculty and Student manuals but there are some parts that are different so I felt that they should have their own manual delivered to them.

Faculty Training Goals and Data Collection

Faculty Training Goals and Data Collection (updated October 25, 2017)

  • I am keeping track of the training progress using data.  The link above is a copy of the live form.  I did not share the live form because I wanted to ensure no corruptibility in the file.   Each tab  (sheet)is a different trainer and each item on the left is a training standard and the names at the top are faculty members.   Trainers will update this as they witness another faculty member reach that goal.  There are target dates and percentages that are kept track of on the results page.  In addition, the results are graphed out on the chart tab.   I print out and post this in the faculty lounge every two weeks and I mention it at the monthly faculty meetings.  (All trainers have access and can edit and update this shared document.)

Teacher Homerooms

  • These are the teachers and their homerooms and the average students in each homeroom.  I scheduled and divided this group out when I scheduled the entire school.  Off to the right are teachers without homerooms.  They have a lunch responsibility instead of a homeroom.  They have to help maintain the lunchroom.

1st Semester Prep, Substitute, and Duty Outline

  • There are no outside substitutes so we have to have teachers in the building sub for other teachers.  I scheduled the entire school and gave out prep periods and sub-periods responsibilities for all teachers and counselors.

2nd Semester Prep, Substitute, and Duty Outline

  • There are no outside substitutes so we have to have teachers in the building sub for other teachers.  I scheduled the entire school and gave out prep periods and sub-periods responsibilities for all teachers and counselors.

In addition to these documents, it is my responsibility to upload and correct documents for different programs within and outside of the building.  I format files and upload them to ensure the school is functioning properly.   I have trained myself on how to use the programs that have been set up in access and properly format files to upload into this program.
