Specialist of Arts in Educational Leadership
As I was working through my masters work in Educational Technology, I realized I wanted to contribute more to the field of education. I work collaboratively with my colleagues and I am a successful classroom teacher but how could I enhance the education of all? I was thinking about the opportunities abound to help teachers grow and improve their instruction. I am aware of the challenges that exist in our current economical and political times and I want to be a difference maker. No teacher is perfect, but there are teachers that are more effective than others and how can we improve the quality of teachers and the educational process for all? The Specialist of Arts in Educational Leadership appealed to me to help answer these questions. It is geared towards for those individuals that have finished a previous masters program. Upon completion of all the coursework an individual with a specialist degree will have administration certification and central office endorsement.
